TECHNICAL CUSTOMER CARE ENGINEER

What exactly will be on your plate?

As a Technical Customer Care Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction. You are the first point of contact for technical inquiries, providing professional advice on products and services, and supporting customers both before and after sales. By delivering accurate, timely, and solution-oriented responses, you help strengthen customer trust and contribute to the commercial success of SICK.


What you will do

  • Respond to customer inquiries and tenders, clarify needs, and prepare accurate quotes in cooperation with the Sales Team.
  • Provide first level technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, before and after sales.
  • Keep customer interactions up to date in the CRM system (reports, contacts, opportunities, support cases).
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge through our training platform and contribute to the execution of internal and external training sessions.
  • Support customer-oriented events such as trade shows.

 

What you bring


  • Degree or technical background combined with persuasive communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support or sales-related role, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of SICK products and their industrial applications is a plus.
  • Competence in commercial relations and sales techniques or willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills: structured, autonomous, and team oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (other languages are an advantage).
  • Curious, dynamic, customer-focused, with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
