JOINT WEBINAR ON ROBOT VISION

ABB Robotics and SICK providing easy to use vision-guided robots

Now for collabroative and industrial robots

How to build vision-guided robotic solutions easily

With the deep integration of the SICK PLOC2D vision sensor system with the ABB Omnicore controller, setting up a vision-guided robot solution is made easy for everyone.

The PLOC2D Add-In has been extended to support the new web user interface available in ABB RobotWare. With the Chromium web browser, it is now possible to run the complete native PLOC2D user interface on the FlexPendant.

This makes it possible to create cost-effective solutions for any standard robot pick-and-place application, both with collaborative and industrial robots. In addition, we have integrated support in the Add-In for the latest PLOC2D extension, which enables easy alignment of mobile robots and registration of stationary robots in work cells. This concept facilitates reliable robot operation without the need for complex robot programming or expensive calibration equipment.

In this webinar, we will describe and show how all of this works.
