Machine Safety in Automation Engineering and Production

Machine safety is more than just complying with guidelines
European directives define the general requirements for putting products on the open market within the European Union. Machine safety is a fixed component of these guidelines. SICK can show you different ways to correctly implement the Machinery Directive. The SICK seminar entitled “Machine Safety in Automation Engineering and Production” includes the execution and documentation of risk assessments using practical examples. Following a brief introduction to the legal background, the participants will learn a proven procedure for risk assessment and then apply it.
Learn more about the significance and application of EN ISO 13849-1 and put it into practice with the help of the SISTEMA software tool. SISTEMA offers structured assistance when assessing the safety of controls in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1.
