What are the minimum requirements to get the FS Engineer certificate?
At least 3 years of experience in the field of functional safety and a University degree (Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering), OR
Equivalent engineer level responsibilities with status certified by employer

Get an overview of the principles of standards and regulations, risk assessment and acceptable risk.
Review how protective devices must be selected and integrated to effectively reduce hazards associated with machinery. Understand how to document the design for proof and quality assurance procedures.
Receive a TÜV Rheinland certificate upon passing the test.
