YOUR FUNCTION:
As a Service engineer within the Process Automation Department, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of innovative measuring and analysis equipment which measures emissions for industrial customers in the BE(NE)LUX region.
- You do preventive and curative maintenance of measuring and analysis equipment and sensors at industrial customers.
- You perform repairs and solve malfunctions.
- Preparation and follow-up of own files from A to Z are crucial to provide service that exceeds the expectations of our customers.
- You will be strongly involved in the projects concerning digital communication and Industry 4.0 in the PA business.
- With your home-office as a base, you follow the planning that you receive from the service planning.
- You participate in the permanent service and are prepared to occasionally reinforce your colleagues in the Netherlands.
- After the execution, you report to the contact person at the client (e.g. technical service, environmental expert, production manager, quality manager or prevention advisor) and internally to the organization.
YOUR PROFILE:
The ideal Service Engineer has/is:
- A bachelor or master in a technical direction (mechanics, electro mechanics, measurement and control engineering, industrial sciences, process engineering) with a strong affinity for digital communication.
- Flexible when it comes to travelling.
- Gets energy from the high degree of autonomy and handles this professionally.
- Does not mind working at heights or on ships (on- and offshore).
- Is Dutch speaking, and can express himself well in French and English.
