More information regarding the panel discussions:

AGV/AMR Implementation – Best Practices and Lessons Learned

Our goal is to provide knowledgeable insight on best practices to support a successful AMR deployment to benefit existing and potential AMR end users, as well as AMR OEM and integrators. We plan to take a journey through the process of identify potential opportunities, evaluating possible solutions, deployment process change, and after deployment responsibilities. The panel discussion will feature two end users and two OEMS’s which will offer engaging insight from each other’s unique perspective. A Question-and-Answer period at the end will allow audience participation and additional collaborative involvement.

ANSI/RIA R15.08-1-2020 America National Standard for Industrial Mobile Robots

What safety requirements apply to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) applied in industrial applications?  This session will provide a high level overview of the new safety standard, ANSI/RIA R15.08 – Safety Requirements for Industrial Mobile Robot.  This series of standards provides guidance for achieving safety of trained personnel in structured or semi-structured workplaces based on the risk assessment process, allowing for a scalable approach to the design and deployment of the IMR.  Furthermore, this standard and establishes three different types of IMRs and explains when other relevant standards may also apply, including when the mobile platform is an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), or when the attachment is a multi-axis manipulator (traditional industrial robot).

Interoperability: What it is and why it matters

Typically, AGV’s and AMR’s only work with their own specific fleet management software, making it difficult for end users to operate a fleet of mixed AMR brands efficiently. Interoperability aims to help enable organizations to deploy autonomous mobile robots from multiple vendors and have them coexist effectively, better realizing the potential of warehouse and factory automation. As the use cases for AMR’s expand, the interoperability of mixed fleets will become more relevant to safe and productive work environments. The selected panel of end users and OEM’s will openly discuss the interoperability topic, how it will affect their organization, and the anticipated future of interoperability in the AMR Industry.

Future Plans for Users of AMR Technology

Present and potential end users of Autonomous Mobile Robot technology are looking to the future. Each industry has simple and complex processes that can be enhanced with AMR technology which will in turn increase their operational efficiency and bottom line. Listen in on a panel discussion from leading industry leaders as they discuss what unique applications need to be solved and why they need to be part of the overall AMR development plan. A Question-and-Answer period at the end will allow audience participation and additional collaborative involvement.
