EVOLUTION OF SAFETY STANDARDS WEBINAR RECORDING

COFFEE + COMPLIANCE

Understanding industry requirements, one cup of joe at a time

UNDERSTAND THE ALPHABET SOUP OF IT ALL.

So you can focus on what’s really important: coffee. And the true meaning of industrial robot safety standards.

Presented by Chris Soranno, Functional Safety Expert (TÜV Rheinland) and Manager of International Safety Standards at SICK, this webinar is part of the Coffee & Compliance series, a series designed to inform viewers of compliance news in an easy-to-digest (or sip) manner. This edition offers a brief background of industrial robot standards and how they have evolved in North America so you can better understand how the new updates correlated to the requirements in the global market.

Webinar objectives:

  • Learn what is included in the newly updated ISO 10218 series of industrial robot safety standards
  • Understand how ISO, ANSI/A3, and CSA standards are creating greater consistency for robot suppliers and system integrators worldwide
  • Explore the new ANSI/A3 R15.06 Part 3 and CSA Z434.1 standards establishing best practices specifically for users of industrial robot cells
  • Gain insight into upcoming developments in robot safety standards
