deTec4 - Advantages at a glance:
Increased productivity and decreased machine downtime: With a uniform housing design, standardized connectivity, and compatible accessories, implementation into the machine design is simple with the deTec. Featuring sophisticated modularity, the deTec enables necessary functions to be activated using the matching system plug. An improved alignment display directly on the safety light curtain saves time, making additional software unnecessary.
Increased flexibility & process reliability: With the smart presence detection function, the deTec4 ignores interference, such as sawdust or welding sparks, that fall into the protective field. It does not switch until the vertical protective field is interrupted. For applications in which the protective field width varies during operation, the dynamic protective field width function offers a high level of flexibility.
Fast device diagnosis: The configuration can be be read out without power thanks to the NFC app. This saves time and also helps to provide a comprehensive diagnosis of the device status during operation (e.g. signal strength during alignment).
Diverse automation options: deTec4 offers predictive maintenance, easy determination of the system cycle time, measurability of the intervention position in the protective field, and completely new diagnostic options via IO-Link as well as via smartphone app and NFC.
